Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The embodiments described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all embodiments consistent with the present invention. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the invention, as detailed in the appended claims.
At present, more and more Applications (APP) are available on smart phones, and more APP icons are available for display on a mobile phone interface, as shown in fig. 1, which illustrates a part of APP icons displayed on a mobile phone screen, including: WeChat icon 11, QQ icon 12, cell phone navigation icon 13, etc., and of course many other application icons, are not shown. The method for displaying application icons according to the embodiment of the present disclosure can provide a way to display the application icons, so that after the application icons are displayed according to the way, a user can more quickly find the application icons to be used by the user, and the method, referring to fig. 2, includes:
201. counting the use times of the application icons on the terminal, wherein the use times are the times of triggering the application icons on the terminal by a user;
taking the example that the smart phone shown in fig. 1 displays various APP icons, the smart phone may include a functional module, which is called "application icon display device", and the method steps shown in fig. 2 are executed by the application icon display device, so that the smart phone can display the APP icons according to the processing set by the method steps.
In this step, the smart phone may count the number of times of use of the application icon.
Examples are as follows: if the user wants to use the WeChat, the user clicks the 'WeChat icon' shown in FIG. 1 to trigger the start of the WeChat, and the user can use the WeChat; similarly, when a user wants to navigate using a cell phone, the user usually double-clicks the cell phone navigation icon to trigger the navigation software to be started. That is to say, the application program is usually used in such a manner that an application icon is displayed on the mobile phone interface, and the user clicks the icon to trigger the APP to be used. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the "number of times of use of the APP" actually refers to the number of times of use of the APP, for example, if a user uses the navigation software three times in a day, he may click the navigation icon three times to trigger three times of starting of the navigation function. The smart phone can sense and accumulate the number of times of use of the application (i.e., the number of times of use of the application icon) at each start of the application.
In addition, the counting of the number of times of use of the application icon may be counting the number of times within a certain time period, for example, counting the number of times of use of each application icon within the last three days, or may be performed by accumulating the number of times of use of each application icon after each use of the application and updating the number of times of use of each application icon in real time for display, which may be flexibly set, and generally, the number of times of use is the number of times of clicking of the application icon in the near future (that is, the number of times of using the application corresponding to the icon).
202. And displaying the application icon in a mode capable of reflecting the using times according to the using times.
In this step, the APP icon is displayed according to the display mode corresponding to the counted number of usage times of the APP icon, that is, how the APP icon is displayed is related to the number of usage times of the APP, and the user can know whether the APP is used more or less through the displayed APP icon. That is, the display mode is used for the user to identify which application icons are clicked more times, and these icons that are clicked more times may be application icons that are relatively important for the user, and the display mode may be various, such as the following:
for example, the number of times of use of the application icon may be displayed together with the application icon, that is, the number of times of use of the application icon may also be displayed together when the application icon is displayed, so that the user knows the number of times of use of the application corresponding to the icon.
Fig. 3 illustrates a manner in which the number of times of use is displayed together with an icon, in which the number of times of use is displayed in the periphery of the application icon. For example, as shown in fig. 3, assuming that the user uses the mi chat icon for 10 times within a preset time period, the usage time "10 times" may be displayed in the upper left corner of the mi chat icon and is displayed by a small circle. In this manner, the display circle in which the number of uses is located and the boundary of the mi-chat icon are connected, or the number of uses may be displayed on the periphery of the icon, that is, the display circle in which "10" times are located does not intersect the boundary of the mi-chat icon.
In addition, the number of times may be displayed at several other boundaries around the icon. And, when the application icon is displayed in such a manner as shown in fig. 3, the application icon in fig. 1 will be displayed in the manner as shown in fig. 4. The smart phone can count the number of times of use of each APP icon respectively to the corresponding relation of record APP and its number of times, when showing the APP icon, show the number of times of use that this APP icon corresponds together with the mode of figure 3.
Fig. 5 illustrates another manner of displaying the number of uses together with an icon, in which the number of uses is displayed hierarchically with the application icon. For example, as shown in fig. 5, in a specific implementation, a layer may be added below the mikto icon, the number of times of use of the icon is displayed on the layer, and the layer where the icon is located is blurred to display the number of times of use of the lower layer. That is, this method corresponds to displaying the number of uses as a background on the lower layer of the icon.
In addition, in order to avoid affecting the recognition degree of the icon and avoid the situation that the icon is displayed indistinctly due to the two-layer display, a mode of intermittently displaying the use times can be adopted, so that the use times of the icon is displayed on the lower layer of the icon if the use times are hidden and appearing. For example, the application icon is normally displayed in the first second, so that the icon display is clearer, the application icon is blurred in the second, and the use times of the application icon positioned at the lower layer of the icon are normally displayed, namely the second key display times; repeating the first second again for the third second, weakening the times or not displaying the times, and normally displaying the application icons; the fourth second blurs the icon to enhance the display times, and so on.
For example, when the number of times of use of an application icon is displayed together with the application icon, other information related to the number of times may be displayed instead of the number of times. For example, the counted number of times of use of each application may be sorted in order from high to low, and the number of sorted bits may be displayed together with the application icon.
Examples are as follows: suppose that in a certain time period, the WeChat is used 8 times, the QQ is used 5 times, the navigation is used 3 times, and the photo icon is used 0 times; then if the four icons are sorted from high to low, the number of times of using the WeChat is the most, the corresponding number of sorting bits is "1" (the number of sorting bits is ranked in the order of the first digit), the number of sorting bits corresponding to QQ is "2", the number of sorting bits corresponding to navigation is "3", and so on. When displaying, the ranking digits corresponding to the icons can be displayed together with the icons, for example, the ranking digits are displayed in the upper left corner of the icons.
For another example, when the number of times of use of the application icon is displayed together with the application icon, the application icon whose number of times of use exceeds a preset number threshold may be highlighted in a preset mode. For example, it may be set that only the application icon with usage times exceeding 5 times is highlighted after counting the usage times, and the highlighting mode may be various, such as displaying the icon in a color that can draw visual attention, adding a bottom color of a visual reminding color to the icon, or adding some highlighting symbol (e.g. a five-pointed star) to the application icon. Fig. 6 illustrates a manner of highlighting an application icon that will be used more than 5 times, adding a five pointed star.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the smart phone performs the above counting of the number of times of use of the application icon, and displays the icon according to the number of times, which may be set when receiving an instruction indicating that the number of times of use of the application icon is counted. For example, fig. 7 illustrates a triggering manner of the instruction, and a user may select a related mobile phone setting option in the mobile phone of the user, for example, the user selects "count statistics" under "icon sorting", and when the user selects the option, the mobile phone starts to perform the processing such as the count statistics. For example, if the number of times of using the icon is preset to be 20:00 per day, the mobile phone may monitor the arrival of the time, and when the time reaches 20:00, the mobile phone may consider that the instruction is received, and start to count the number of times of using the application icon.
By displaying the application icon in the mode corresponding to the use times of the icon, the user can know how many times the icon is used through the display mode, so that the application icons with different use times are distinguished, the identification degree of the application icon is increased, and the application searching efficiency is also improved.
