Abstract

技术领域
本申请涉及输入/输出(IO)连接器领域,更具体地涉及成组设置的IO连接器。
背景技术
使用IO连接器是公知的。一个典型的应用是一服务器或开关。为了提供一足够数目的IO接口,通常是将多个IO连接器以称之为成组布置的方式并排设置。成组连接器的使用减小了连接器之间的间隔(space),从而对于一给定的开关的宽度而言可具有额外的接口。由接口数目增加所带来的一个问题是已变得更难于使该系统散热。与过去经常采用的无源器件(passive components)相比,由于设置于所述接口中的模块日益要求为有源器件(active components)(例如电能消耗)的事实,而使得这个散热问题进一步加重。因此,采用一连续罩体系统的现有成组方案因散热性能问题而变得难以利用。因此,某些人群会赏识在一成组连接器上的进一步的改进。
发明内容
一种连接器系统包括多个罩体,各罩体单独包围一壳体,各罩体限定至少一个接口。所述多个罩体分隔开,以使相邻罩体之间存在一间隙。一导热垫片设置在所述多个罩体周围。所述导热垫片包括多个通气孔,以使空气能够在所述多个间隙之间流动。所述导热垫片可包括一前部,所述前部构造成接合该罩体的前面,且还可包括一密封面,所述密封面将所述导热垫片密封于一边框。

具体实施方式
下面的详细说明描述示范性实施例且不意欲限制于明确公开的组合。因此,除非另有说明,本文所公开的特征可以组合在一起,以形成多个另外组合(出于简明目的而未示出)。
图1-图6示出可结合成一成组连接器系统10的多个特征。一电路板40支撑多个壳体15,所述多个壳体15以间隔方式并排设置,同时多个罩体20设置于相应的壳体15的周围,从而所述多个壳体各被单独地包围。如能够认识到的,相应的相邻罩体20的相邻的外壁21之间存在间隙17,间隙17提供相邻罩体20之间的一预定距离。
所示出的所述多个罩体20(以及相对应的壳体15)各设置一第一接口28a以及一第二接口28b,所述两个接口为一堆叠结构。然而,应注意的是,如需要,则罩体20与壳体15可构造成设置一单个接口。这样的构造会成为电源配置(power profile),但也会在电路板40的每个前缘提供更少的接口。
示出一边框60且边框60具有一开口,所述开口围绕所述多个罩体20延伸。边框60包括一唇部62,唇部62限定所述开口且包括一后表面64,后表面64能够由以常规方式形成开关或服务器的结构支撑。
如能够认识到的,所示出的罩体20具有一前缘22以及一前表面25,前表面25具有适于空气和/或指示器(诸如适合供光导管使用)的多个开孔。一导热垫片80包括一前部84,前部84具有提供给所述前部一第一宽度D1的边缘85。前部84设置成压靠在所述罩体的前表面25和/或前缘22上。导热垫片80还包括具有一宽度D2的一主体部83,并且所述主体部是将置于罩体20之间且可接合一电磁干扰(EMI)垫片29的部分。EMI垫片围绕罩体前表面附近的周边延伸,并在罩体插入边框时使罩体能够具有适当的EMI保护。如所示出的,EMI垫片29包括与主体部83接合并产生挠曲(deflect)的多个指部。如能够认识到的,宽度D1大于宽度D2,这使得罩体20的所述前表面接合导热垫片80。
导热垫片80包括多个通气孔86,所述多个通气孔86构造成使得空气流动通过所述导热垫片并在罩体20之间的间隙17流动。所述多个通气孔86设置在前部84和主体部83二者上。导热垫片80还包括一密封面88,密封面88构造成将一密封件96压挤在密封面88与所述边框60的后表面64之间。密封件96可构造成有助于阻挡EMI,从而所述连接器系统可提供良好的EMI保护。因此,导热垫片80允许对导热重要的空气流动,同时提供适当的EMI保护。另外,导热垫片的设计允许罩体20的前部压靠导热垫片80,并且这个力引起密封面88将密封件96压靠在框体60的后表面64。

Claims (6)
1.一种连接器系统,包括:
一电路板;
多个壳体,安装于所述电路板,所述多个壳体并排布置;
多个罩体,各罩体包围所述多个壳体的其中之一,各罩体包括限定一第一接口的一前表面且还包括一电磁干扰(EMI)垫片,所述电磁干扰垫片围绕该罩体在该前表面附近的周边延伸,其中所述多个罩体以一预定距离分隔开;
一导热垫片,位于所述多个罩体周围,所述导热垫片包括一前部以及一主体部,所述前部和所述主体部均包括多个通气孔,所述主体部具有稍小于所述预定距离的一第一宽度,所述主体部接合所述EMI垫片,且所述前部具有稍大于所述预定距离的一第二宽度,所述前部接合所述前表面以防止在操作时所述导热垫片的所述前部受压越过所述前表面。
2.如权利要求1所述的连接器系统,还包括一边框,所述边框围绕所述多个罩体的前表面延伸,所述导热垫片具有一密封面,所述密封面构造成压靠在所述边框上。
3.如权利要求2所述的连接器系统,还包括一密封件,所述密封件设置于所述密封面和所述边框之间,所述密封件被压挤在所述密封面与所述边框之间。
4.如权利要求3所述的连接器系统,其中所述多个壳体和所述多个罩体构造成均提供两个接口,所述两个接口中的一个堆叠在所述两个接口中的另一个之上。
5.如权利要求4所述的连接器系统,其中所述EMI垫片具有多个指部,且所述主体部使得所述多个指部中的至少一些指部挠曲。
6.如权利要求5所述的连接器系统,其中所述密封面位于所述主体部的后面,以使所述前部置于所述前表面上,所述主体部向后凹设且所述密封面相对于所述主体部进一步向后凹设。
