The invention relates to a refrigerator with a drawer. The refrigerator comprises a storage chamber and the drawer (1). The drawer (1) is positioned in the storage chamber and comprises a front wall (5) and a decorative strip (7), the decorative strip (7) is connected to the front wall and comprises a decorative portion (71), and the decorative portion (71) is positioned on the front side of the front wall. The decorative strip further comprises gripping portions (72), the gripping portions (72) extend into the drawer and are positioned on the rear side of the front wall, and at least one part of each gripping portion is thicker than the decorative portion.

The present invention relates to a refrigerator having a drawer, and more particularly, to a refrigerator having a drawer adapted to store articles.

When the drawer has a large gap with the storage device above the drawer, a user can directly grasp the upper end of the front wall of the drawer to push and pull the drawer.

WO2009/080483 discloses a refrigerator comprising a storage compartment and a drawer container movably arranged therein and a handle bar arranged on the drawer container, which is positively connected to the front wall of the container in the form of a groove spring connection. The user can push and pull the drawer from the front of the drawer.

WO2011/026747 also discloses a refrigerator with a drawer, to the front wall of which a handle member is attached, the grip being located above the drawer.

The invention aims to provide a refrigerator which is beneficial to improving user experience and can improve cost efficiency.

The above object is achieved by the features of the independent claims. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the figures, the description and the dependent claims.

One aspect of the present invention relates to a refrigerator door. The refrigerator comprises a storage chamber and a drawer positioned in the storage chamber, wherein the drawer comprises a front wall and a decorative strip connected to the front wall, the decorative strip comprises a decorative part positioned on the front side of the front wall, the decorative strip is characterized by comprising a handle part positioned on the rear side of the front wall and positioned in the drawer, and the thickness of at least one part of the handle part is larger than that of the corresponding part of the decorative part.

Due to the fact that the thickened hand-grasping portion is arranged on the inner side of the front wall of the drawer, the experience that a user holds the front wall of the drawer to push and pull the drawer can be obviously improved. At the same time, since the grip is provided directly on the decorative strip, it is possible to keep the same thin wall as the other parts without additionally providing a handle member and without providing an inwardly projecting thickening or other type of projection on the drawer front wall, which is advantageous for cost efficiency and also for manufacturing.

The trim strip may extend along the entire width of the front wall or may extend only along part of the width of the front wall.

The thickness of the grip portion and the decorative portion at a certain height shall mean a distance between the front surface and the rear surface of the grip portion or the decorative portion in the front-rear direction at that height. For example, when the grip portion and/or the decorative portion are formed with only a single wall at a specific height, the thickness of the grip portion and/or the decorative portion may be formed with the wall thickness of the corresponding portion; when the grip and/or the decorative part has a plurality of walls overlapping in the front-rear direction at a certain height, the thickness of the grip and/or the decorative part includes at least the wall thickness of the plurality of overlapping walls, and if there is a gap between the plurality of walls in the front-rear direction, the thickness of the grip and/or the decorative part should also include the gap.

The thickness of the grip portion and the decorative portion may be substantially constant or may vary. For example, the thickness of the decorative portion may be substantially constant in the longitudinal and/or transverse directions to facilitate a cleaner and more compact front surface of the drawer, while the thickness of the finger grip may vary or be constant over at least a portion of the height.

The thickness of the handle part in the whole height range can be larger than that of the decoration part at the corresponding height, and the thickness of the handle part in the partial height range (especially the part which is always gripped by a user) can be larger than that of the decoration part at the same height.

In a possible embodiment, the thickness of at least part of the sections of the hand grip may increase gradually from top to bottom. This is particularly advantageous for the user's fingers to ride on the grip portion to improve the user experience.

In one possible embodiment, there may be at least one cavity between the rear surface of the gripper portion and the rear wall surface of the front wall. This is particularly advantageous for increasing the spacing between the rear surface of the grip portion and the rear surface of the front wall. The cavity may be closed or open at least on one side.

In one possible embodiment, at least one of the cavities may be located within the grip portion. In an alternative embodiment, the at least two walls may be parallel, for example the two walls may extend substantially in a vertical direction, the upper and lower ends of the two walls may be connected by different horizontal walls, respectively, and the grip may have a substantially square ring cross-section.

In one possible embodiment, the hand grip comprises a bottom wall connecting the lower ends of the at least two walls, the bottom wall, the at least two walls enclosing a cavity open at both ends.

In a possible embodiment, the bottom wall is parallel to the horizontal plane. So that the user's fingers can also be put on the bottom wall to push and pull the drawer.

In one possible embodiment, the trim strip may be an extrusion.

[ detailed description of the invention ]

Referring to fig. 1 and 2, the drawer 1 may be installed in a refrigerator (not shown). Refrigerators have storage compartments surrounded by insulated walls. The drawer 1 is installed in a storage room (not shown) in a slidable manner.

The drawer 1 comprises a casing 10 having a bottom wall 2, a pair of side walls 3, a rear wall 4 and a front wall 5, the walls 2-5 together defining a storage space 6 in which items may be placed. The case 10 may be integrally injection molded or at least one wall may be assembled to other components as a separately manufactured part.

The drawer 1 comprises a decorative strip 7 attached to the front wall 5. The trim strip 7 extends over the entire width of the front wall 5. The trim strip 7 is an extruded strip comprising plastic. The outer surface of the decorative strip 7 may have a colour that is clearly distinguishable from the colour of the box 10 to highlight the decorative effect. This can be achieved by means of coextrusion or spraying to achieve the desired color of the decorative strip 7.

The trim strip 7 rides on the upper end of the front wall 5, and includes a decorative portion 71 located on the front side (may also be referred to as "outer side") of the front wall 5 and a grip portion 72 located on the rear side (may also be referred to as "inner side") of the front wall 5. The trim strip 7 may have a constant cross section.

The decorative portion 71 is flat plate-shaped and has a substantially constant thickness. The decorative portion 71 is disposed closely to the outer surface of the front wall 5. The front side of the front wall 5 may have a recess 51 that receives the decorative portion 71, and the depth of the recess 51 may be approximately equal to the wall thickness of the decorative portion 71 so that the decorative portion 71 and the rest of the front wall 5 may be substantially flush.

As shown in fig. 3, the trim 7 may include a fixing portion 73 connected to a lower end of the decorative portion 71. The fixing portion 73 protrudes rearward from the inside of the lower end of the decorative portion 71, and accordingly the front wall 51 has an insertion groove 52 corresponding to the fixing portion 73, and the fixing portion 73 is inserted into the insertion groove 52. The fixing portion 73 extends along the entire width of the decorative portion 71. Correspondingly, the slot 52 also extends over the entire width of the front wall 5. The decorative portion 71 may be pre-deformed to be more firmly clamped to the front wall 5.

As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the trim strip 7 has a substantially inclined V-shaped outer contour in cross section. At least a portion of the gripper portion 72 has a thickness greater than a thickness of a corresponding portion of the decorative portion 71. In this embodiment, the thickness of the gripper portion 72 is greater than the thickness of the corresponding portion of the decorative portion 71 over at least a portion of the height range, i.e., the thickness of the gripper portion 72 is greater than the thickness of the corresponding portion of the decorative portion 71 at the same height over a range of heights.

In this embodiment, the hand grip 72 includes two walls having a gap in the front-rear direction. These two walls include a first wall 721 continuously and smoothly extending obliquely from the entire height of the hand grip 72 and a second wall 722 connected to the lower surface of the middle region of the first wall 721 and extending substantially vertically downward, which gradually increases the thickness of the hand grip 72 from top to bottom. The angle between the lower sections of the first and second walls 721, 722 may be acute.

The rear surface of the first wall 721 (i.e., the surface facing away from the front wall 5) forms the rear surface of the gripper portion 72, and therefore the rear surface of the gripper portion 72 includes a slope 726 that slopes rearward in the top-down direction. Preferably, the slope comprises a curved surface concave towards the front wall 5.

The gripper portion 72 includes a bottom wall 725 connecting lower ends of the first wall 721 and the second wall 722. The bottom wall 725 is parallel to the horizontal plane. The bottom wall 725, the first wall 721 and the second wall 722 enclose a first cavity 723 extending in the transverse direction and being open at both ends.

The second cavity 74 is formed between the upper section of the first wall 721 and the rear wall surface of the front wall 5. Thus, there are a plurality of cavities 723, 74 between the rear surface of the grip 72 and the rear wall surface of the front wall 5 to increase the distance therebetween.

The second wall 722 is next to the rear surface of the front wall 5. The side of the second wall 722 facing the front wall 5 has a protrusion 724, and the protrusion 724 abuts against the front wall 5 to prevent the decoration 7 from falling off the box 10 when the user grasps the decoration 7.

The various embodiments of the individual components described in connection with fig. 1 to 3 may be combined with each other in any given way to achieve the advantages of the invention. In addition, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments, and other means than those shown may be generally used as long as the same effects are obtained.

Claims

1. A refrigerator comprising a storage compartment and a drawer (1) located inside the storage compartment, the drawer comprising a front wall (5) and a decorative strip (7) connected to the front wall, the decorative strip comprising a decorative portion (71) located at the front side of the front wall, characterized in that the decorative strip further comprises a grip portion (72) projecting into the drawer and located at the rear side of the front wall, the thickness of at least a portion of the grip portion being greater than the thickness of the decorative portion.

2. The refrigerator of claim 1 wherein the grip at least in part sections increases in thickness from top to bottom.

3. The refrigerator of claim 1, wherein at least one cavity (723, 74) is provided between a rear surface of the gripper portion and a rear wall surface of the front wall.

4. A refrigerator as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that at least one of said cavities (723) is located in said grip.

5. The refrigerator according to claim 3, characterized in that at least one of said cavities (74) is formed between a rear surface of said front wall and a front surface of said handle portion.

6. The refrigerator of any one of the above claims, wherein the rear surface of the gripper portion comprises a slope (726) inclined rearward in a direction from top to bottom.

7. The refrigerator of claim 6, wherein the inclined surface includes a curved surface recessed toward the front wall.

8. The refrigerator of any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the gripper portion includes at least two walls (721, 722) having a space therebetween in a front-rear direction.

9. The refrigerator of claim 8, wherein the at least two walls include a first wall (721) obliquely extending from an entire height of the gripper portion and a second wall (723) connected to a lower surface of a middle region of the first wall and extending substantially vertically downward, the second wall and a lower section of the first wall having a gap therebetween.

10. The refrigerator of claim 9 wherein the angle between the lower sections of the first and second walls is acute.

11. The refrigerator of claim 8 wherein said at least two walls are parallel.

12. The refrigerator of claim 8, wherein the handle portion comprises a bottom wall (725) connecting lower ends of the at least two walls, the bottom wall, the at least two walls enclosing a cavity (724) that is open at both ends.

13. The refrigerator of claim 12 wherein said bottom wall is parallel to a horizontal plane.

14. The refrigerator according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the decorative strip is an extruded piece.
