Abstract
Un sistema de gestión para baterías, que comprende: un controlador primario; uno o más conjuntos de batería, que incluye, cada uno: una batería, en donde cada batería posee un nivel específico de carga máxima, de carga mínima, de corriente máxima, los parámetros del modelo de circuito equivalente y los parámetros del modelo térmico; y unos medios para conectar o desconectar su batería respectiva; en donde el controlador central recibe un voltaje de referencia para la suma de los voltajes de los conjuntos de batería; en donde, durante la carga del sistema, el controlador primario envía señales de conexión/desconexión a cada conjunto de batería de acuerdo con una lista de prioridad, en donde: cada batería se conecta si se cumple que: • la diferencia entre el promedio del estado de carga de todas las baterías y su estado de carga es mayor a las diferencias de carga de cada otra batería y el promedio del estado de carga de todas las baterías; • su temperatura está por debajo de su temperatura de umbral operación; • además, es necesario que el voltaje de referencia es mayor a la suma de los voltajes de los conjuntos de batería; cada batería se desconecta si se cumple una de las dos condiciones: • la diferencia entre el promedio del estado de carga de todas las baterías y su estado de carga es menor a las diferencias de carga de cualquier otra batería y el promedio del estado de carga de todas las baterías; • su temperatura supera su temperatura máxima de operación; • además, es necesario que el voltaje de referencia debe ser menor o igual a la suma de los voltajes de los conjuntos de batería; en donde, durante la descarga del sistema, el controlador primario envía señales de conexión/desconexión a cada conjunto de batería de acuerdo con una lista de prioridad, en donde: cada batería se conecta si: • la diferencia entre el promedio del estado de carga y su estado de carga de todas las baterías es menor a las diferencias de carga de cualquier otra batería y el promedio del estado de carga de todas las baterías; • su temperatura está por debajo de su temperatura de umbral operación; cada batería se desconecta si: • la diferencia entre el promedio del estado de carga de todas las baterías y su estado de carga es mayor a las diferencias de carga de cada otra batería y el promedio del estado de carga de todas las baterías • su temperatura supera su temperatura máxima de operación.A management system for batteries, comprising: a primary controller; one or more battery assemblies, each including: a battery, each battery having a specified maximum charge level, minimum charge level, maximum current level, equivalent circuit model parameters, and thermal model parameters; and means for connecting or disconnecting their respective battery; wherein the central controller receives a reference voltage for the sum of the battery pack voltages; where, during system charging, the primary controller sends connect/disconnect signals to each battery pack according to a priority list, where: each battery is connected if: • the difference between the average of the state of charge of all batteries and their state of charge is greater than the differences in charge of each other battery and the average of the state of charge of all batteries; • its temperature is below its operating threshold temperature; • In addition, it is necessary that the reference voltage is greater than the sum of the voltages of the battery sets; each battery is disconnected if one of the two conditions is met: • the difference between the average state of charge of all batteries and their state of charge is less than the differences in charge of any other battery and the average state of charge of all batteries; • its temperature exceeds its maximum operating temperature; • In addition, it is necessary that the reference voltage must be less than or equal to the sum of the voltages of the battery sets; where, during system discharge, the primary controller sends connect/disconnect signals to each battery pack according to a priority list, where: each battery connects if: • the difference between the average state of charge and your state of charge of all batteries is less than the differences in charge of any other battery and the average of the state of charge of all batteries; • its temperature is below its operating threshold temperature; each battery is disconnected if: • the difference between the average state of charge of all batteries and their state of charge is greater than the differences in charge of each other battery and the average state of charge of all batteries • their temperature exceeds its maximum operating temperature.
