Abstract
<p>UN MÉTODO PARA LA MODERNIZACIÓN DE UNA SECCIÓN DE REMOCIÓN DE CO2 PARA REMOVER EL DIÓXIDO DE CARBONO DE UN GAS DE SÍNTESIS QUE CONTIENE HIDRÓGENO, EN DONDE LA SECCIÓN DE REMOCIÓN DE CO2 COMPRENDE UNA SECCIÓN DE ABSORCIÓN (2) EN DONDE EL DIÓXIDO DE CARBONO ES TRANSFERIDO A UNA SOLUCIÓN ABSORBENTE Y UNA TORRE DE DESORCIÓN (3) PARA LA REGENERACIÓN DE LA SOLUCIÓN CARGADA CON CO2, DICHA TORRE DE DESORCIÓN COMPRENDE UNA ZONA SUPERIOR (4) EN DONDE UNA PRIMERA CORRIENTE GASEOSA DE CO2 (10) Y UNA SOLUCIÓN SEMI-POBRE PARCIALMENTE REGENERADA (11) SON PRODUCIDAS, Y UNA ZONA INFERIOR (5) QUE ACTÚA COMO UNA ZONA DE DESORCIÓN EN DONDE UNA SEGUNDA CORRIENTE GASEOSA DE CO2 (12) Y UNA SOLUCIÓN POBRE REGENERADA SON PRODUCIDAS, LA SEGUNDA CORRIENTE DE CO2 (12) SIENDO UNA CORRIENTE SUSTANCIALMENTE PURA QUE CONTIENE MENOS HIDRÓGENO E IMPUREZAS QUE LA PRIMERA CORRIENTE DE CO2, Y EN DONDE EL MÉTODO PARA LA MODERNIZACIÓN PROVEE LA INSTALACIÓN DE MEDIOS DE SELLADO (16) EN EL INTERIOR DE LA TORRE DE DESORCIÓN (3), DISPUESTOS PARA AISLAR DICHA SEGUNDA CORRIENTE GASEOSA DE CO2 (12) DE LA PRIMERA CORRIENTE (10), DE MODO TAL QUE LA SEGUNDA CORRIENTE (12) PUEDE SER EXPORTADA SEPARADAMENTE.</p>
