Die Erfindung betrifft schwerentflammbare Polyamide und daraus hergestellte Formkörper. The invention relates to flame-retardant polyamides and molded articles made therefrom.
Als flammhemmende Additive für Polymere, speziell für Polyamide gehören zum wohlbekannten Stand der Technik Melaminverbindungen, speziell Melamincyanurat, Magnesium- und Aluminium-Hydroxyd, halogenierte, speziell bromierte organische Verbindungen, besonders in Kombination mit Schwermetallsalzen, Phosphor allein und in Kombination mit halogenhaltigen Verbindungen. As flame retardant additives for polymers, especially for polyamides, the well-known prior art includes melamine compounds, especially melamine cyanurate, magnesium and aluminum hydroxide, halogenated, especially brominated organic compounds, especially in combination with heavy metal salts, phosphorus alone and in combination with halogen-containing compounds.

Besonders vorteilhaft ist auch, dass die erfindungsgemässen Polyamide bereits mit Additiv-Anteilen um 4 bis 10 Gew.-% flammhemmend modifiziert sind. Als Polyamide sind alle semikristallinen Po-lyamid-Typen, ihre Mischungen und Blends zu verstehen, speziell die Homopolyamide PA 6, PA 11, PA 12, PA 66, PA 69, PA 610, PA 612, PA 1212, PA 46 aber auch solche deren Monomere ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe aliphatische Diamine mit 4 bis 12 C-Atomen, cycloaliphatische Diamine mit 7 bis 22 C-Atomen und aromatischen Diamine mit 6 bis 22 C-Atomen in Kombination mit Monomeren der Gruppe aliphatischen Dicarbonsäuren mit 4 bis 12 C-Atomen, cycloaliphatischen Dicarbonsäuren mit 8 bis 24 C-Atomen und aromatischen Dicarbonsäuren mit 8 bis 20 C-Atomen, bevorzugt solche aus Hexamethylen und seinen Derivaten, NDT und PACM und seinen Derivaten und Homologen mit aliphatischen oder aromatischen Dicarbonsäuren mit 4 bis 36 respektive 8 bis 20 C-Atomen.
