Abstract
A mixture of 65% of palm oil, 30% of copra oil and 5% of tributyrin is subjected to transesterification using sodium methoxide, after which the transesterified fat is washed with water. The fat obtained has properties very close to those of the fat of natural milk. It can be added to a skimmed milk powder in order to reconstitute a milk whose nutrient ability is comparable with that of whole milk.
