Description
Fig. 1 zeigt eine erfindungsgemäss ausgebildete Anordnung Gebrauch.

The invention relates to a device arrangement in the form of a watch bracelet. Modern people often need technical aids such as computers, data displays, stopwatches for measuring time, etc. So far, people have been content to take these technical aids to the workplace when necessary. The present invention shows another novel approach. Based on the consideration that modern humans have become accustomed to determining the respective time with a quick glance at the wrist, the invention has set itself the task of arranging the technical tools such as calculators, temperature meters, etc. in a new and particularly practical way .
This object is achieved in the device arrangement according to the invention in that in the longitudinal direction of the bracelet small display or signal devices are arranged laterally next to a device, the housing of which has the shape of a rectangular square with rounded corners and the housing width measured transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bracelet is equal to the case width of the watch measured in the same direction.
In many cases it is useful if the side of the housing facing the arm of a person wearing the bracelet is concave. Advantageously, the front of the devices arranged next to the watch on the bracelet is also convexly curved in the longitudinal direction of the bracelet. In a preferred embodiment, the clock and the laterally adjacent devices are connected by coupling elements which are attached to the mutually facing sides of adjacent housings.
Further developments and refinements of the subject matter of the invention are characterized in the subclaims and are described below in connection with the exemplary embodiments.
In the figures, some of which are shown in a schematically simplified manner, corresponding parts are provided with the same reference numerals. Show it:
1 shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in which the individual devices are attached to the bracelet,
2 shows an embodiment in which the individual devices are connected by coupling links attached to them and thereby form the bracelet,
3 shows an embodiment according to FIG. 2, in which, however, the front side and underside of the devices are curved,
4 shows a plan view of an example of a compilation of a wristwatch with several devices,
5 shows a top view of a combination of further devices to be combined with the wristwatch.
Fig. 1 shows an arrangement designed according to the invention in use. The wristwatch 1 is worn by a wristband 2 to which several display or signal devices are attached. In the figure, only one of the devices attached to the bracelet is visible, namely the receiver 3 of a paging system, which is set to a specific frequency, as used in hospitals and offices.
In the embodiment of Fig. 2, the devices located next to the clock 1, namely an electronic stopwatch 4, an electronic date indicator 5, a thermometer 6 are connected to each other by coupling members 7 which are attached to the facing sides of the housing of adjacent devices.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 3, the housings of adjacent devices 9 and 10 are also connected to one another and to the watch case by coupling elements, but the front and back of these devices, namely the computer 9 and the microphone 10 of an intercom system are convex in the longitudinal direction of the bracelet arched.
In FIGS. 4 and 5, for example, compilations of the devices that are preferably to be combined with the wristwatch are shown. The solar battery 15 is used to supply power to several devices located on the same bracelet or connected to one another by coupling elements, the devices in question being connected to one another via lines.
Since the individual devices can be purchased individually and combined with one another in various ways, an individual variety is possible, depending on the purpose, occupation or activity. Other electronic modules can be combined for sports at the weekend than for use in the office, for the student other than for the driver, for the diver other than for the mountaineer.
There will be particular diversity for use in factories and offices, but also especially in the military.
On warships, in the air force and in staffs, soldiers become independent of stationary display devices. Think also of expeditions, parachutists and researchers.
Because the devices can be bought individually, the acquisition costs are low. It can be useful to manufacture and sell the devices in different groups, whereby the groups can differ in function, shape and color:
1. general use instead of today's watch for adults,
2. for young people in bright colors and shapes, mainly with clock, stopwatch and calculator for schoolchildren and students,
3. Military versions in olive-green color and impact-resistant housing with many signal versions, also in tape form for hanging on walls, in radio stations or vehicles.
