Description

Method for assembling sheets of corrugated cardboard, and assembly obtained by method The present invention relates to a process for assembling sheets of corrugated cardboard, with the aim of producing resistant, light and strong panels.

The method according to the invention is characterized in that at least two sheets of corrugated cardboard are glued together so that the ribs of each of the sheets are oriented in different directions.

The invention also relates to the assembly obtained by said process.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the first embodiment, FIG. 2 a perspective view of the second embodiment.

In the drawing, fig. 1 shows the simplest embodiment, which is constituted by a sheet of corrugated cardboard 1, having its ribs 2 oriented vertically, glued on the plane P to a sheet 3 whose ribs 4 are arranged perpendicular to the ribs 2.

Fig. 2 shows the second embodiment produced by coupling four sheets of corrugated cardboard.

The sheets thus glued can be coated with sheets of paper or with an impermeable coating. The coupling of the execution form according to fig. 1 with other similar ones can be repeated endlessly in order to obtain panels which are extremely resistant in relation to their weight. These panels can be used to replace known materials, such as wood, in particular to constitute veneers, coatings, etc.

In addition, the assembly according to the invention can be used for the manufacture of supports around which the fabrics are wound.
