Description

Schuh.

Shoe. The subject of the present invention is a shoe, in particular for skiers and tourists, but which can also be used as work shoes. The purpose of the invention is to create a tight seal on the upper edge of the shoe, so that neither snow, water or sand can penetrate the shoe over this edge. It is already known to arrange strips of felt, sponge rubber or the like on the edge of the shaft, but none of these strips guarantee a secure closure.

According to the present invention, these disadvantages are eliminated by the fact that a. Cuffs made of supple leather with a pulling element drawn into a hem is provided. This closure has the advantage that it can be very easily closed tightly. In the accompanying drawing, a ski boot is shown in some embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.

Fig. 1 shows the first game Ausführungsbei in the diagram; Figure 2 is a section on line II-II of Figure 1; Fig. 3 to 6 each show a further example.

The shoe 1 shown in Figure 1 be sitting on the upper edge of its shaft 2 a cuff 3 made of soft, pliable leather. The cuff 3 consists of a single .Strip leather that is folded around its longitudinal center and the free edges of which are sewn between the upper part of the upper 3 and the leather lining 5 (FIG. 2). The resulting seam 6 is a pulling element, for. B. a pull cord 7 pulled, the ends of which are passed through eyes 8 to the outside.

When tightening the .Schnur 7, the Stul pen 3 is placed tightly around the leg so that no water, snow, sand, etc. can penetrate the shoe from above. Of course, the free ends of the cord 7 are linked to one another, as FIG. 1 shows. Instead of the pull cord 7, a belt 10, as shown in FIG. 3, can also be pulled through the hem 6 and passed through the eyelets 8 towards Il Assen.

At one end of the belt, a buckle 11 is attached, while the other end has some consecutively angeord designated holes, for the purpose of receiving the folding pin of the buckle.

According to the embodiment according to FIG. 4- the lacing strap 12 used to tie the shoe is pulled through the hem of the cuff 3 and led out through the eyelets 8. Then the belt 12 is looped crosswise from top to bottom (instead of from bottom to top as usual) around the shoe hooks 13 and linked at the bottom.

As FIG. 5 shows, one longitudinal edge of the strip forming the cuff 3 between the upper part 4 and leather lining 5 is one .e while the other longitudinal edge is fixed to the upper part 4 with a zipper 15.

It can also, as shown in Fig. 6, the lining 5 itself to form the Stul pen, 3 are used.

The present seal against moisture or sand penetrating from above is very effective. The great advantage of the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 3 lies in the special pulling element which is completely independent of the shoe lacing and which effects the closure, by means of which the pliable leather gauntlet is placed around the leg with selectable pressure. .that the latter is not hindered in its movements.

The gauntlet 3 can also be used with every Schult. such as ski, mountain and work shoes, attach later, preferably to replace the well-known sponge rubber or felt seals, which do not guarantee a secure seal. Because the upper edge of the cuff is close to the leg and takes part in every leg movement regardless of the significantly stiffer upper edge of the shoe, it is practically no longer possible for sand, water or snow to be more or less wide through the usually existing between leg and shaft edge Gap at the top of the '; c .huh can penetrate.

The tongue of the shoe can also be extended by the height of the cuff, but this is not absolutely necessary because. the cuff ends overlap at the front as soon as the pulling element is tightened (shown in Fig. 4).
