Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Kondensationsproduktes    aas       1,1-Dimethyl-cycloocten-(2)-aldehyd-(3)    und Aceton.    Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines bisher un  bekannten Kondensationsproduktes aus 1,1  Dimethyl-cycloocten-(2)-aldehyd-(3) und Ace  ton, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass  man ein Gemisch des 1,1-     Dimethyl    -     cyclo-          octen-(2)-aldehyd-(3)    und des Acetons mit  einem Kondensationsmittel behandelt.  



  Das Kondensationsprodukt ist eine bei  105-108   (0,1 mm) siedende, nach Veilchen  riechende Flüssigkeit und kann als Riechstoff  Verwendung finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  100     gr        1,1-Dimethyl-cycloocten-(2)-alde-          hyd    - (3) werden in 200 cm' Aceton gelöst  und mit einer Lösung von 5     gr    Natrium in  75 cm' Methylalkohol versetzt. Das Gemisch  wird nach einiger Zeit mit     Ogalsäure    ange-    säuert und nach dem     Abdestillieren    der Lö  sungsmittel in Äther aufgenommen und mit       Sodalösung    gewaschen. Der Siedepunkt des  Kondensationsproduktes liegt bei<B>105-1080</B>  (0,1 mm).

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a previously unknown condensation product from 1,1-dimethyl-cycloocten- (2) -aldehyde- (3) and acetone, which is characterized in that a mixture of 1,1-dimethyl - Cyclo-octen- (2) -aldehyde- (3) and the acetone treated with a condensing agent.



  The condensation product is a liquid that boils at 105-108 (0.1 mm) and smells like violets and can be used as a fragrance.



  <I> Example: </I> 100 g 1,1-dimethyl-cycloocten- (2) -alde- hyd - (3) are dissolved in 200 cm 'acetone and with a solution of 5 g sodium in 75 cm' methyl alcohol offset. After some time, the mixture is acidified with ogalic acid and, after the solvents have been distilled off, taken up in ether and washed with soda solution. The boiling point of the condensation product is <B> 105-1080 </B> (0.1 mm).

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Konden sationsproduktes aus 1,1-Dimethyl-cycloocten- (2)-aldehyd-(3) und Aceton, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man ein Gemisch aus 1,1-Di- methyl-cycloocten-(2)-aldehyd-(3) und Aceton mit einem Kondensationsmittel behandelt. Das so erhaltene Kondensationsprodukt ist eine bei<B>105-1080</B> (0,1 mm) siedende, nach Veilchen riechende Flüssigkeit.
