Description

Kopfschraube.

Cap screw. The present invention has a head screw as an object that can be used as a wood and metal screw. The head of this screw can be any shape, like-. Countersunk head, pan head, round head, cylinder head. For the purpose of screwing in, a recess is provided in the blade of the head. This depression has the shape of a truncated pyramid. After the bottom of the depression, the side surfaces are weak. The cross-section of this recess is expediently square, but can also be triangular or polygonal. The bottom of the recess is expediently formed in a pyramid shape.

The edges of the recess with the surface of the head of the screw are suitably slightly broken.

A major advantage of this screw compared to the one commonly used today is the much greater mechanical strength of the screw head. As a result of the weak attraction of the side surfaces of the recess, the screw can be pushed onto the screwdriver and any wobbling of the screw is excluded when screwing in, which enables safe and quick work.

If the edges are slightly broken, the screw has a pleasing appearance and injuries to the screw are excluded. If such a screw is driven in with a hammer, it will suffer less damage than a screw with a slot. A whole series of screws of different sizes can be provided with the same recess. After screwing it in and out several times, the screw shows absolutely no signs of wear.

The drawing shows a wood screw as Ausführungsbei game of the subject invention. The recess is in the shape of a four-sided truncated pyramid, the sides of which have b towards the bottom a weak chen suit (about 10), and form the seat for the screwdriver. The bottom c of the recess is pyramidal. The inclination of the sides of this pyramid to the screw axis is approx. 60. But it can also be lower, for example 30.

The edges a of the recess on the surface of the screw head are weakly broken. The screwdriver has a head corresponding to the recess, which only rests on the side surfaces b. This ensures a secure fit. The screw can be easily screwed in with one hand.
