Abstract
A greeting card for coloring, wherein the illustration is a contour and it is printed on a card-stock paper. The greeting card for coloring can be colored with any available coloring material that can be applied to a paper, such as pen, pencil, marker, crayon, etc. The coloring greeting card gives plenty of possibilities to personalize it and make it unique. At the same time, the coloring process is a fun and relaxing activity suitable for all ages.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention is in the field of entertainment, social expression products and more specifically it is related to greeting cards and coloring activity. Also, this invention relates to an educational utility for helping develop child's image and color recognition.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Greeting cards are widely used for celebratory occasions such as birthdays, graduations, retirements, Valentine's day and other commercial purposes.
Through the time the greeting cards have been enhanced by incorporating sounds, motions and other effects to increase the entertainment value and the emotional impact.
A greeting card for coloring -- personally choose the colors and personally perform the process -- is a way to create a unique and personal salutation. And the coloring process is a relaxing and rewarding activity, suitable for all ages.
The greeting cards for coloring are easy to use. The only thing required to personalize the card is something to color with, such as pen, pencil, crayons, markers and any type of painting that can be applied to a paper. The coloring can be done anywhere: in the office, school, coffee shop or on the go. The other advantage of the greeting cards for coloring is the color application itself. It is widely known that the coloring activity has a relaxing effect on adults - I -(and not only) and it is a good educational training experience for kids. In general, coloring is a fun and entertaining for everybody.
As a result, the greeting cards for coloring provide a positive emotional impact on whoever colored the cards and the recipient by receiving greetings specially colored for her/him.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
A greeting card for coloring is a greeting card wherein the contour illustration is printed on a card-stock paper.
The contour illustration is to be filled out with color(s) by the consumer with colors of preferences, using any suitable coloring material, such as pen, pencil, crayons, markers and any type of painting that can be applied to a paper.
The size and shape of the greeting card for coloring (FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3) can be any that suites for greeting cards: single panel, 2-panel folded, multiple-panel folded or pre-cut custom shape. The contours of the illustration can be solid, dotted, dashed, wavy or curly, or combined; and the contours of the illustration can be of any color.

A greeting card for coloring for birthday. The contour illustration can be colored with the color that fits best to the jubilarian. For example, person A wants to give a greeting card for person B's birthday. Person A knows that person B does not like yellow and she/he is a big fan of a blue color. Then, person A fills out the contour illustration with blue and other colors, avoiding the yellow. It is a quite simple process that provides both persons positive emotional experience.
Other good example for greeting cards for coloring is Halloween, when children gather candies and chocolates. So, instead of giving the kids sweets, it would be a lot more beneficial for them to exchange and gather greeting cards for coloring with Halloween contour illustrations. That way unhealthy eating will be substituted with a healthy entertaining and fun and educational activities.

Claims (5)
1. A greeting card for coloring, wherein the illustration is in contours, or most of the illustration is in contours (FIG. 1 and FIG. 2) and it is printed on a card-stock paper of any color.
2. A greeting card for coloring as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lines of the contour can be solid, dashed, dotted, wavy, curly, or any combination of the above description. The lines of the contour can be of any color.
3. A greeting card for coloring as claimed in claims 1 and 2, in which the shape can be any type: rectangle, square, circle, oval, or any pre-cut custom shape.
4. A greeting card for coloring as claimed in claims 1, 2 and 3, which can be a single panel, 2-panel folded or multiple panel folded.
5. A greeting card for coloring as claimed in claims 1, 2, 3 and 4, wherein the contoured illustration is printed on one side or both sides of a single panel and multiple panel card.
