Description
Assembly for Bridging a Gap in the Lower Area of a Door field of Railway Vehicles The invention relates to an assembly for bridging a gap in the lower area of a door field of railway vehicles between the entry/exit and a railway platform, which is arranged on the railcar body in the door field of railway vehicles in the form of a height-adjustable bumper strip.
As a result, the manufacturing tolerances of the entry/exit edge of the railcar body shell and the bogie can be compensated.
From the prior art, edge elements for railway platforms for trains are known, wherein the railway platform extends at a certain height relative to the rails, so that the level of the railway platform corresponds to the entrance height of a train standing on the rails.
Such edge elements are in DE 602004009856 T2 and in EP 1431154 A 1. The disadvantage here is that all railway platforms have to be provided with such edge elements over the entire possible train length, and the edge elements are not matched to the different exit heights due to the different railway vehicle construction types, to the floating connection between the bogies and the railcar bodies of the vehicle and to manufacturing tolerances.
Moreover, arrangements for bridging a gap have already been disclosed, which are arranged on the railcar body structure in the area of the door opening of a railway vehicle. These are characterized either by an expensive, motor-driven construction or they are in a static stationary arrangement that is not adjustable in terms of height on the railcar body structure of the railway vehicle. Such arrangements are described, for example, in the published documents FR 2887838 (A1), US 7,178,467 B2, DE 202009006413 Ul and EP 2489568 A2.
The problem of the present invention consists in providing a simple construction for an arrangement for bridging a gap in the lower area of a door field of railway vehicles between the r entry/exit and a railway platform, which is suitable for setting different height distances between the railway platform and the exit.
According to the invention, this problem is solved by the features of Claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are presented in the dependent claims.
Accordingly, the invention comprises an assembly for bridging a gap in the lower area of the door field of a railway vehicle, wherein the latter comprises a bracket which is screwed to the railcar body of the railway vehicle in the lower area of the door field. The bracket here is in an active connection with at least one support via a screw connection, wherein, on the support, a bumper strip is arranged on the side facing away from the railcar body. The support here can form a single piece over the length of the bracket or it can be screwed at several sites next to one another to the bracket.
According to a particular feature of the invention, on the screw-connection surface facing the railcar body, the bracket comprises several elongated holes spaced apart from one another, which are provided for the connection with the railcar body. As a result, a purely vertical setting and an adaptation of the arrangement to possible manufacturing tolerances of the railcar bodies in the vertical direction of the railway vehicle are achieved. Moreover, the bracket presents several lateral connection ridges angled to the side vertically by 900 with openings or bores, wherein between a plurality of these ridges, horizontally angled guide ridges are provided.
The support comprises several connection ridges angled to the side vertically by 90 with elongated holes, wherein horizontally angled support ridges are provided between a plurality of these connection ridges, wherein the support ridges have lugs. Here, the screw connections are advantageously arranged between the openings of the connection ridges and the elongated holes
As a result, the manufacturing tolerances of the entry/exit edge of the railcar body shell and the bogie can be compensated.

and Figures 6a-c different settings of the assembly relative to the railway platform height in a side view represented in cross section.
Figures la-c and Figures 2a-c show the details of the bracket 1.1 and of the support 1.2 in different views. The bracket 1.1 has several elongated holes 1.1.1 spaced apart from one another on the screw-connection surface facing the railcar body 2, and several connection ridges 1.1.2 angled vertically by 90 with openings 1.1.3. In addition, horizontally angled guide ridges 1.1.4 are provided between the ridges 1.1.2. The vertical elongated holes 1.1.1 allow a vertical setting of the arrangement on the railcar body (2).
The support 1.2 comprises connection ridges 1.2.1 angled vertically by 90 with elongated holes 1.2.2. By means of the elongated holes 1.2.2 in circular arrangement, by rotation, an angular adjustment of the upper surface of the bumper strip 1.4 which can be walked on can occur, and thus a change in the height of the entrance edge can occur. The lugs 1.2.3.1, 1.2.3.2 are used for bracing the arrangement in the case of possible contact with a railway platform.
Between the connection ridges 1.2.1, horizontally angled support ridges 1.2.3 are provided, which have lugs 1.2.3.1, 1.2.3.2.
Figures 3a-c show the entire arrangement in different views in the assembly with the bumper strip 1.4 which is consists of a rubber element and which is applied on the support 1.2 by vulcanization. The bumper strip 1.4 with the rubber element is used for bridging a gap with respect to the railway platform. In case of any contacts, damage to the vehicle frame is prevented by the bumper strips 1.4. The gap between the vehicle and the railway platform is necessary

4 , because of the floating connection between the bogie of the vehicle and the railcar body 2 of the vehicle (vehicle dynamics). The screw connection 1.3 is arranged between the openings 1.1.3 of the connection ridges 1.1.2 and the elongated holes 1.2.2 of the connection ridges 1.2.1, wherein the arrangement 1 is height-adjustable via the screw connection. Here, the guide ridges 1.1.4 are guided between the lugs 1.2.3.1, 1.2.3.2 of the support ridge 1.2.3. Here, the support 1.2 can form a single piece over the length of the bracket 1.3 (Figures 3a-c) or it can be screwed at several sites next to one another to the bracket 1.3 (Figure 5).
In Figures 6a-c, three different settings of the arrangement relative to the railway platform height are shown in a side view represented in cross section. The height adjustment can here occur relative to the step angle in the door area of the railway vehicle and relative to the railway platform height. In sum, this arrangement allows a purely vertical setting and also an angular setting of the upper surface of the bumper strip which can be walked on. The settability here occurs as the sum of a vertical adjustability of the bracket 1.1 via the elongated holes 1.1.1 as well as of the elongated holes 1.2.2 arranged in a circle of the support 1.2. Due to the adjustability, the entrance edge always remains at the same height.
