Abstract
Une boue déjà traitée est réacheminée dans des eaux usées entrantes et est efficace pour fournir les nutriments nécessaires à la dégradation microbiologique de la boue. La boue réacheminée présente un contenu solide de 10 % ou plus et a été cisaillée ou chauffée pour diminuer sa viscosité à 10 000 cP ou moins. Dans la boue ainsi créée, les nutriments sont préservés et acheminés vers les eaux usées afin dêtre traités sous forme hautement liquéfiée et solubilisée; ce faisant, les nutriments sont particulièrement biodisponibles pour les microbes présents dans les eaux usées. Il peut en résulter de grandes améliorations pour ce qui est de lélimination de la biomasse.
