Abstract

Nouveau procédé de sélection permettant d'identifier de nouvelles formes mutantes d'Escherichia coli KO11, une bactérie éthanologène présentant la capacité de croître et de survivre dans ces concentrations d'éthanol supérieures à celles dans lesquelles les Escherichia coli KO11 mères peuvent survivre. Cette nouvelle approche, qui alterne entre la sélection orientée sur la résistance à l'éthanol et la sélection orientée sur la croissance rapide sur un milieu solide présentant un taux élevé de chloramphénicol, a permis d'obtenir des souches potentiellement utiles pour la production d'éthanol.
