Abstract
La présente invention concerne une méthode intégrée de tri de médicaments conçue pour coupler un dosage de tri temporel et spatial à une synthèse de produits naturels dans un micro-organisme. La présente invention décrit une unité de tri qui consiste en une gouttelette de gel comprenant une espèce productive qui produit des produits naturels destinés au tri de médicaments, et un système de dosage qui détecte ou mesure une activité biologique voulue. Une espèce productive est co-encapsulée avec un système de dosage dans une unité de tri lorsque l'espèce productive est à une phase de son cycle vital optimale pour la production de produits naturels, tels que des métabolites secondaires. L'espèce productive est disposée dans l'espace par rapport au système de dosage dans la même unité de telle manière que des composés produits par l'espèce productive puissent entrer en contact avec le système de dosage. Si un composé possède l'activité voulue, le système de dosage génère un signal permettant l'identification et/ou l'isolation de l'unité de tri. La présente invention concerne également des méthodes de formation d'une unité de tri, ainsi que des méthodes d'utilisation d'une unité de tri pour trier des médicaments. Les méthodes selon l'invention s'utilisent pour trier des organismes naturels, et des excipients solides contenant des produits chimiques.
