Abstract

Une suspension à bras longitudinaux, permettant de monter des roues en contact avec le sol sur un châssis de véhicule, comporte un essieu monté sur lesdits bras par l'intermédiaire d'un connecteur essieu-poutre. La suspension comprend au moins deux bras conçus pour être montés pivotants sur les côtés opposés du châssis et au moins un essieu porte-roues monté sur les bras par l'intermédiaire d'un ensemble de montage d'essieu. Chaque ensemble de montage d'essieu comprend une paire de connecteurs essieu-poutre qui sont montés sur l'un des bras à l'une de ses extrémités par une connexion baguée et qui sont reliés rigides à l'essieu à une autre extrémité par un assemblage compressif ou par une soudure. Chaque bras forme une bague qui reçoit l'essieu. Une couche élastomère positionnée entre l'essieu et la bague permet leur articulation. Chaque connecteur essieu-poutre, identique et symétrique par rapport à un axe longitudinal, a une forme généralement triangulaire dans une configuration bidimensionnelle. Il comporte un gousset de renforcement à sa partie supérieure et à sa partie inférieure, ainsi que, à son autre extrémité, une plaque arquée le reliant à l'essieu. L'assemblage compressif comprend une bande d'enveloppement creuse entourant l'essieu, qui est soumise à une tension suffisante pour comprimer l'essieu au niveau d'au moins deux ensembles de surfaces externes diamétralement opposées et circonférentiellement espacées dudit essieu, et pour empêcher les déplacements de ce dernier par rapport à la bande d'enveloppement dans les conditions de fonctionnement ordinaires.
