Abstract

PROCESSO PARA SELETIVAMENTE REMOVER COMPOSTOS CONTENDO NITROGêNIO A PARTIR DE TABACO, E, ADSORVENTE PARA A REMOçãO SELETIVA DE COMPOSTOS CONTENDO NITROGêNIO A PARTIR DE UM EXTRATO DE TABACO AQUOSO. A presente invenção provê um processo para a remoção de compostos contendo nitrogênio de tabaco com remoção mínima de compostos desejados. O processo inclui as etapas de misturar um material contendo tabaco com um solvente aquoso para formar um extrato; o extrato é então separado do material contendo tabaco e contatado com um material adsorvente. O material adsorvente é selecionado dentre o grupo consistindo de uma mistura de bentonita e um material de carvão, <225>-ciclodextrina, acetato de celulose, e combinações dos mesmos. O extrato é então adicionado de volta a um material contendo tabaco que pode ter sido ou não processado.
