Abstract

"MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO DE UMA FERRAMENTA ROTATIVA PARA A MAQUINAçãO DE REMOçãO DE CAVACO". A presente invenção se refere a um método para a manufaturação de uma ferramenta rotativa para a maquinação de remoção de cavaco com pelo menos uma estria de cavaco externa que se estende na direção longitudinal da ferramenta. Em concordância com a presente invenção, o método compreende as etapas de preparação de uma mistura de um carbeto de metal duro, cermet ou pós cerâmicos e um suporte, tal como um polímero; e de colocação da mistura em uma máquina de extrusão. A mistura é extrudada em uma direção de alimentação (F) por intermédio de uma matriz (3) para formar o diâmetro do corpo de mistura. O corpo de mistura passa contra um cinzel (9) que forma uma estria de cavaco (10; 1OA) na periferia externa do corpo de mistura pela maquinação de remoção de cavaco. Quando o cinzel (9) é deslocado fora de contato com, o corpo de mistura, uma porção de haste de broca não estriada é formada. Pela rotação da corpo de mistura enquanto em contato pelo cinzel (9), uma estria de cavaco helicoidal pode ser formada. Alternativamente, o corpo de mistura poderia ser espiralado depois que uma estria reta tenha sido formada, por intermédio do que a estria se torna helicoidal. Ainda em concordância com a presente invenção, a referida estria de cavaco (10; 1OA) é formada pelo cinzel (9) executando a maquinação de remoção de cavaco.
