<B>ELETRODO ELETROCIRúRGICO DE RETORNO REUTILIZáVEL PARA USO EM ELETROCIRURGIA<D> Eletrodo eletrocirúrgico de retorno reutilizável para uso com eletrocirurgia. In yet another, it includes a work surface area at least as large as that of a profile projection of both a patient's torso and legs. It is adapted for placement on the work surface of a surgical table or dentist's chair immediately underlying a patient during electrosurgery. With a very large work surface area, the need for direct contact or contact through gels is eliminated; through the use of washable surface areas, it can be readily cleaned and reusable; and by selecting resistance characteristics for the electrode materials of the main electrode body. Through the projection of the electrode geometries, it becomes self-limiting as for current density, and temperature increase in order to avoid trauma to the patient. An optional cuff is provided for cooperative use with the electrode.
