Patente de Invenção: <B>''PROCESSO PARA RECUPERAçãO DE áCIDO SULFúRICO A PARTIR DE SUBPRODUTOS DE UM PROCESSO PARA PREPARAçãO DE áCIDO 2-HIDRóXI-4-METIL TIOBUTìRICO (MHA)''. A invençõ refere-se a um método para recuperação de ácido sulfúrico de subprodutos sulforosos que surgem em processo para preparação e ácido 2-hidróxi-4-metiltiobutírico (MHA), em que o ácido sulfúrico se acumula em um grau em que ele pode ser siretamente reempregado em tais processos. Para esta finalidade do gás de combustão contendo SO~ 2~ é passado através de uma solução de H~ 2~ O~2 sulfúrico em que o SO~ 2~ oxidado para formar ácido sulfúrico
