MÉTODOS PARA TRIAGEM PARA UMA PLANTA DE ESTÉVIA COM ALTA RAZÃO DE TEOR DE REBAUDIOSÍDEO M, PARA PRODUZIR UMA PLANTA DE ESTÉVIA COM ALTA RAZÃO DE TEOR DE REBAUDIOSÍDEO M, PARA PRODUZIR UM EXTRATO COMPREENDENDO REBAUDIOSÍDEO M EM UMA ALTA RAZÃO DE TEOR, PARA PRODUZIR REBAUDIOSÍDEO M E PARA PRODUZIR UM ALIMENTO OU BEBIDA, UMA COMPOSIÇÃO ADOÇANTE, UM SABOR OU UM MEDICAMENTO, PLANTA DE ESTÉVIA COM ALTA RAZÃO DE TEOR DE REBAUDIOSÍDEO M, SEMENTE, TECIDO, FOLHA SECA, CULTURA DE TECIDO OU CÉLULA, E, EXTRATO DA PLANTA, DA SEMENTE, DO TECIDO, DA FOLHA SECA, DA CULTURA DE TECIDO OU DA CÉLULA. A presente invenção provê, inter alia, um método para triagem de plantas de estévia com uma alta razão de teor de rebaudiosídeo M, o método incluindo uma etapa para detectar a presença e/ou ausência de pelo menos uma das características genéticas (1) e (2) e a presença e/ou ausência de pelo menos uma das características genéticas (3)-(7) do genoma de uma planta de estévia de teste.
