Abstract

TRATAMENTO TÉRMICO DE COQUE PRODUZIDO A PARTIR DE ÓXIDOS DE CARBONO. Um piche de carbono ou coque seco é produzido reagindo uma mistura de dióxido de carbono e hidrogênio em um reator a uma temperatura e pressão predeterminadas com um catalisador de ferro sendo alimentado no reator, usando um processo que também envolve a produção de metano a partir dos gases de reação. O produto de reação é resfriado. O produto de reação pode ser grafitizado em um vaso de reação sob pressão reduzida, aquecendo o vaso a uma taxa predeterminada e injetando um fluxo de gás inerte. O vaso é aquecido a uma temperatura de entre 1600°C e 2800°C e mantido a essa temperatura por horas. O vaso é resfriado e os produtos de reação removidos.
