Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho de codificação de sinal de áudio (100) que inclui um transformador de tempo-frequência (101) que emite espectros de sub-banda de um sinal de entrada, um quantizador de energia de sub-banda (102), um calculador de tonalidade (103) que analisa a tonalidade dos espectros de sub-banda, um alocador de bits (104) que seleciona uma segunda sub-banda na qual a quantização é executada por um segundo quantizador com base no resultado da análise da tonalidade e da energia de sub-banda quantizada, e determina um primeiro número de bits a serem alocados em uma primeira sub-banda na qual a quantização é executada por um primeiro quantizador, o primeiro quantizador (106) que executa a codificação usando o primeiro número de bits, o segundo quantizador (107) que executa a codificação usando um filtro de passo, e um multiplexador (108).
