Abstract

a invenção se refere a um processo de fabricação de vidro plano compreendendo as seguintes etapas sucessivas: (a) a aplicação de uma camada de uma frita de vidro sobre um têxtil de vidro, o vidro da frita e do têxtil tendo essencialmente a mesma composição, (b) o aquecimento do têxtil de vidro portando a camada de frita de vidro até uma temperatura t > tl - 20°c, tl sendo a temperatura de littleton da frita de vidro, durante uma duração suficiente para converter a camada de frita em uma camada de esmalte de mesma composição que o têxtil de vidro, e (c) o resfriamento do têxtil de vidro, impregnado com o esmalte ou portando uma camada de esmalte, obtida na etapa (b), de modo a obter uma folha de vidro. ela se refere igualmente a uma folha de vidro susceptível de ser obtida por este processo.
