resumo patente de invenção: "fibra alimentar para uso no tratamento de um efeito colateral gastrintestinal de uma nutrição ou medicamento". a presente invenção refere-se a uma fibra alimentar para uso no retardo ou de outro modo redução de um efeito de saciedade de uma nutrição medicinal ou de um medicamento, onde a nutrição medicinal ou medicamento é para administração oral ou gastroentérica por um humano. a invenção refere-se ainda a um método para tratar profilaticamente ou terapeuticamente um humano com necessidade do mesmo, o tratamento compreendendo administrar uma quantidade eficaz de uma fibra alimentar, em combinação com uma composição farmacêutica ou uma nutrição conforme definido em qualquer uma das reivindicações anteriores, desta maneira reduzindo um efeito de saciedade da composição farmacêutica ou da nutrição. a invenção refere-se ainda a produtos adequados para uso em tal método.
