Abstract
"SISTEMA PARA DETECTAR A PRESENçA DE GáS DE FORMAçãO EM UMA CORRENTE DE FLUIDO DE PERFURAçãO QUE ESCOA ATRAVES DE UM FURO DE POçO DURANTE PERFURAçãO DO FURO DE POçO, E, COLUNA DE PERFURAçãO". Um sistema é apresentado para detectar a presença de gás de formação em uma corrente de fluido de perfuração circulando através de um furo de poço durante a perfuração do furo de poço. O sistema compreende pelo menos uma câmara sensora conectável com uma coluna de perfuração para perfurar o furo de poço, cada câmara sensora contendo um volume de um gás selecionado e tendo uma parede de membrana que permite a passagem de gás de formação proveniente da corrente de fluido de perfuração para o interior da câmara sensora. O sensor é previsto para detectar uma alteração de uma característica selecionada do volume de gás devido à passagem de gás de formação proveniente da corrente de fluido de perfuração através da parede de membrana para o interior da câmara sensora.
