Abstract
"ESPUMAS COMPOSTAS DE POLìMEROS BáSICOS ABSORVENTES DE áGUA, E, PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR E USO DAS MESMAS". A invenção refere-se às espumas preparadas a partir de polímeros básicos, absorventes de água, que podem ser produzidas por: (I) esponjamento de uma mistura aquosa reticulável que contém (a) pelo menos um polímero básico cujos grupos básicos estão opcionalmente neutralizados; (b) pelo menos um agente reticulante; (c) pelo menos um agente tensoativo; (d) opcionalmente pelo menos um agente de solubilização; (e) opcionalmente espessante, estabilizadores de espuma, materiais de carga, fibras e/ou nucleante celular e (f) opcionalmente polímeros ácidos absorventes de água, partícula-moldados, no qual um gás que é inerte aos radicais é dissolvido para propósitos de esponjamento na mistura aquosa, reticulável em uma pressão variando de 200 a 40.000 kPa, que é então aliviada na pressão atmosférica ou no qual o esponjamento ocorre pela dispersão de bolhas finas de um gás que é inerte aos radicais, e (II) reticulação da mistura esponjada pela formação de um hidrogel esponjado e opcionalmente regulação do conteúdo de água do polímero esponjado para 1 por cento em peso a 60 por cento em peso. A invenção refere-se em adição a um método para a produção de espumas pela implementação das medidas acima mencionadas (I e II) e à utilização das espumas resultantes em artigos de higiene para a absorção de fluidos do corpo, em materiais curativos para cobrir ferimentos, como materiais de vedação, material de embalagem, condicionadores de solo, substituintes de solo, drenagem de lama, a absorção de resíduos aquosos ácidos, para espessamento de tintas aquosas na disposição de resíduos de tinta, desidratação de hidrocarbonetos ou óleos contendo água ou como materiais para filtros em sistemas de ventilação.
