Abstract
"REVESTIMENTO / ISOLAMENTO DE DENSIDADE MúLTIPLA". A sheath / insulation (10) includes a fibrous material cushion (12) having a high acoustic insulation portion (14) and a relatively higher density film (16) along a first face thereof which can work with a water barrier. The acoustic coating is non-laminated, consisting of polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, glass fibers, natural fibers and any mixtures thereof. For certain applications the coating / insulation may incorporate a cover on one or even two opposite sides thereof. A door isolation method (38) including an outer body panel (40) and an inner strip panel (44) as well as a door for a vehicle are also disclosed and claimed.
