Abstract
"MéTODO PARA IDENTIFICAR NOVOS FUNGOS MUSCODOR, COMPOSIçãO, MéTODOS DE INIBIçãO DO CRESCIMENTO DE UM ORGANISMO, DE TRATAMENTO OU DE PROTEçãO DE FRUTAS, PLANTA, SEMENTES, GRãO OU SOLO CIRCUNDANDO AS PLANTAS CONTRA UMA INFESTAçãO POR UM ORGANISMO, DE TRATAMENTO DE PRODUTOS RESIDUAIS ANIMAIS OU HUMANOS, E DE OBTENçãO DE UMA COMPOSIçãO VOLáTIL, E, FUNGO". Esta invenção proporciona um novo fungo endofítico, Muscodor, que produz uma mistura de antibióticos voláteis com atividade sobre insetos, nematódeos, bactérias e patógenos específicos de planta. Também é proporcionado um método para o tratamento ou a proteção de plantas, solos e sementes contra infecções microbianas compreendendo a aplicação de uma quantidade efetiva de Muscodor sp. produtor de um antibiótico volátil. A invenção também se refere às composições fungicidas, bactericidas, inseticidas e nematicidas compreendendo esta nova cepa de Muscodor e aos antibióticos e metabólitos produzidos por esta cepa quer sozinhos, quer em combinação com outros pesticidas químicos ou biológicos. Também é proporcionado um método para a identificação e o isolamento de fungos produtores de gás relacionados.
