Abstract
<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA TRATAMENTO DE áGUA RESIDUAL<D> Um método para separar contaminantes de uma fonte aquosa que contém contaminantes. Em uma modalidade, o método envolve o uso de um oxidante altamente pulverizado dissolvido no sistema aquoso. O gás é dissolvido em um reservatório na solução aquosa e a pressão dentro do reservatório é controlável. Isto permite o contato máximo do gás dissolvido de oxidação com o material contaminante. Quando oxidado, a saída do reservatório é adaptada para permitir cavitação hidráulica. O efeito líquido da cavitação é induzir uma formação de espuma cuja espuma transporta um floco para uma fase separada da solução aquosa. Desse modo, o processo é efetivamente um processo de transferência de massa de gás de oxidação, dissolvido. Em outra modalidade, o processo pode ser aumentado por eletrocoagulação. Isto envolve o uso de uma célula elétrica que é disposta dentro do reservatório que contém o material oxidante.
