Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA MEDIR POR ULTRA-SONS A TENSãO REDISUAL DE UMA BARRA DE PRé-ESFORçO"<D>. Para medir in situ a tensão residual F~ 1~ de uma barra de pré-esforço estendida entre duas ancoragens, mede-se o tempo de ida e volta T~ 1~ de uma onda ultra-sónica entre as duas extremidades da barra, e avalia-se F~ 1~ através da fórmula F~ 1~ = F~ 0~ + k~ b~.(T~ 1~ - T~ 0~). Por ocasião de uma aferição prévia efetuada sem desmonte submete-se a barra a um esforço de tração variável F, mede-se para cada valor o tempo de ida e volta T de uma onda ultra-sónica entre as duas extremidades da barra, registra-se uma curva (C) que associa o esforço F com o tempo T, determina-se a constante T~ 0~ como sendo o tempo de ida e volta T medido para F = 0, aproxima-se a curva, próximo do valor F = 0, por uma primeira reta (D~ 1~) de inclinação k~ a~, aproxima-se uma porção superior da curva por uma segunda reta (D~ 2~) de inclinação k~ L~, determina-se a constante F~ 0~ como sendo o esforço de tração F que corresponde ao ponto de interseção das primeira e segunda retas, e determina-se a constante k~ b~ de acordo com a relação 1/k~ b~ = (1/k~ L~) - (1/k~ a~).
