Abstract
The instrument is used in medical engineering and in ophthalmology for the prevention and treatment of functional disorders of eye-seeing, as well as in binoculars, microscopes, etc. It contains a casing (1) fixed in respect of the eyes, and optical components (2, 3) having transparent zones (4, 5, 6, 7) of different optical characteristics connected to lines of transition (8, 9) and fitted in such a way in order to ensure the transition of the visual axis of each of the eyes from zone at any level on the horizontal. In addition the difference of the values of the characteristics of the zones (4, 5, 6, 7) of every optical component (2, 3) is within the boundaries between the eye's objective sensitivity towards any changes in the given optical characteristics. The instrument has alternatives of its design execution, the preferable option being in the form of eyeglasses. The clarity and the merger of the vision is achieved by readjustment of the muscles of the eye. This action in multiple repetitions has a training effect on the muscles and the eyes. Continuous training process occurs of the accommodation-convergency apparatus by using the instrument which is used for carrying out effective prevention and treatment of functional disorders of vision. The instrument can be used by people with impaired or normal eysisight regardless of the type of their work. 10 claims, 11 figures
