Abstract

Recovery of coal residues and flyash from a power station for use as a hydraulic binder esp. of the pozzuolanic cement type comprises mixing the residues with a CaCO3 and firing at 1300 degrees C then at 1500 degrees C to produce a molten slag, rapidly cooling to granulate the slag and grinding the granules to a fine powder.
