Description

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

      publiée sous le n 1.018.681, un court bout de tube de diamètres @ interne et externe constants forme la fermeture.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

  Connection for pipes.

   The object of the invention is a connection element for pressurized pipes, which can be welded to the ends of pipes to be assembled as a flanged connection, for example the connection according to DIN 2633, or as a collar connection, by example the fitting according to DIN 2673.

   Such elements to be added by welding generally have, for reasons of strength, a progressive transition zone between the flange or the collar and a part of final external diameter, corresponding to a determined nominal pipe diameter, Finally, as the indicates German patent application

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

      published under no. 1.018.681, a short piece of tube of constant internal and external diameters forms the closure.

   Different weld flanges are therefore provided for pipes of the same external diameter but of different wall thicknesses.

   The object of the invention is to provide a connector element for pressurized pipes which has a determined nominal external diameter and can be used to connect pipes having this same nominal external diameter Rais, the internal diameter of which varies within certain limits.

   The connecting element forming the subject of the invention, the external diameter of which is constant, has an internal diameter which increases from one of its ends to the other.

   The dimensions of the connector element can be such that its diameter will internalize the thicker end, being constant over a short length.

   It is possible, by means of two connecting elements in accordance with the invention, to assemble thin-walled pipes or thick-walled pipes;: it suffices to cut the connecting elements at the place of which the thickness corresponds to the wall thickness of the pipes and to weld the connecting elements thus prepared at the ends thereof. Using the connecting elements of the invention, it is possible to connect the pipes, d 'different wall thicknesses.

   The assembly will be facilitated if, according to another feature of the invention, the outer wall of the connecting elements carries a scale, for example punched, the divisions of which indicate the measurements of internal diameters or of thickness es ocei of the connection element.

   The connecting elements which are the object of the invenvier

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 are used particularly advantageously for the connection of high pressure pipes, such as hydraulic lines, which require a very safe welding between the pipe and the coupling member. The connecting elements can be adapted exactly to the internal diameter of the pipes, which is very frequently subject to certain variations which have their origin in the manufacture of the pipes themselves. It is therefore a matter of assembling two end faces of the same dimension, which makes it possible to achieve an excellent weld.

   The invention represents progress and provides a means of meeting the increasingly stringent requirements of nationalization since it considerably simplifies the storage conditions for fittings: in fact, the multiple possibilities of adapting the thickness of wall of the connector for a determined external diameter of pipe makes it possible to provide, during manufacture, a number of different gauges markedly smaller than that which had to be provided previously. some examples of execution of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawing, in which: FIG. 1 shows a connection element with flange; Fig. 2, a connection element with screwed collar in FIG. 3, an element of the circular groove fitting; Fig. 4, a collar connector, and FIG. 5, a pipe assembly.

   The raccora element has a short end of pipe having a constant internal diameter at its end portion 1a and a steadily decreasing wall thickness towards its end 1b. At its end 1a, the end of pipe in question can carry a flange 2 or a screwed collar 3, or else have a circular groove 4. The connection element can alternatively
