Description
A Flower and Plant Receptacle Device which may be disposed of together with the dead or dying flora.
This is particularly handy for places such as Hospitals where generally only jars (if any) are available, likewise they are excellent for Cemeteries as the flora lasts longer when in soil or water and also can be more easily disposed of by the Caretakers. Flower-Mates are invaluable for such businesses as Restaurants, Hotels, Motels and Functions as advertising can be printed to specifications on four separate faces thus thanking clients for their patronage, forthcoming events, personalized logos, or simply the words 'with compliments from the Management'.
In the case of people visiting, Flower-Mates will replace most Greeting .Cards and have the added bonus that the flowers or plant which arrive "in them may well be the only flora put on display (as plants when given will generally be placed outdoors until after the occasion whereas flowers are generally placed in the sink until they can be trimmed to *suit the chosen vase).
A further advantage for plants lies in the fact that the receptacles are made of biodegradable material thus a plant can be purchased from a Snursery packaged in such a receptacle thus letting the nursery retain their own pot for future use and the client with a more attractive gift. Being biodegradable by merely perforating the sides and or bottom, the entire unit can be planted into the ground as is.
To assist with the understanding of the Invention reference will now be made to the accompanying drawings.
Fig B1 shows the Shape of the Receptacle complete with instructions, 2 Glue Strips as well as dotted fold lines.
When all four sides are folded upwards and inwards the flat shape becomes a four sided pyramid which when tied up between the large and the small inverted pyramids will become a receptacle for most flora.
Fig B2 shows the unit in it's complete form minus the ribbon which is generally tied around the neck of the receptacle.
