Abstract

The modular circuit breaker includes a section (20) which slots into a wire holder in the side of the circuit breaker. The section is made up of two click fit sections (21,22), one of which (21) is shorter than the other. The sections are joined forming a bridge at the rear. Pushing the click fit sections into channels (15a,15b) engages a shoulder on one channel first, and forms the wire connection. Pushing into the second position locks the wires in place. The wall (23) between the two channels has a brittle zone (24) so that it comes loose if the section is removed from the channel. <IMAGE>
