[0027] For making the objects, technical solutions, and advantages of embodiments of the present application clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be described clearly and completely hereinafter in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of the present application. Apparently, the described embodiments are a part of the embodiments of the present application, rather than all embodiments. Based on the embodiments in the present application, all of other embodiments, made by the person skilled in the art without any creative efforts, fall into the scope of protection of the present application.
[0028] Reference is made to Figures 1, 2 and 3, Figure 1 is a top view of an embodiment of a roof antenna mounting base according to the present application; Figure 2 is a view taken along line A-A in Figure 1; and Figure 3 is a view taken along line B-B in Figure 1.
[0029] In an embodiment, the roof antenna mounting base according to the present application mainly consists of two parts, including a bottom base 1 and a top plate 2.
[0030] The bottom base 1 has a hollow box-shaped structure, and has a squared cross section. A bottom plate 1-1 of the bottom base 1 is inwardly indented by a certain distance in a longitudinal direction with respect to a side wall 1-2 of the bottom base 1, and is in an inwardly recessed shape. The top plate 2 is located at the top of the bottom base 1, and is in a rectangular shape having a size larger than the size of the cross section of the bottom base 1, and a periphery of the top plate 2 extends outwards with respect to the bottom base 1 to form a connecting edge.
[0031] A threaded seat 3 for mounting an antenna is fixed to an inner top portion of the top plate 2. The threaded seat 3 is a flat rectangular hollow profile welded to the inner top portion of the top plate 2 transversely in a width direction of the vehicle body. Two threaded holes in each threaded seat 3 correspond to threaded holes in the top plate 2 respectively, and are bilaterally symmetrical in the width direction of the vehicle body, and are configured to fix the antenna by screws or bolts, and provide corresponding connecting positions for the screws or the bolts.
[0032] As illustrated in the drawings, a peripherally closed protrusion 4 is further provided on the top of the top plate 2. The protrusion 4 and the top plate 2 may be formed as an integral structure, and may also be machined separately and then assembled together. An internal region enclosed by the protrusion 4 is a roof antenna mounting region. In a top view, the roof antenna mounting region is in a rectangular shape, and the screw holes in the top plate 2 is located within the roof antenna mounting region.
[0033] After a roof antenna 5 is mounted, a cable 6 of the roof antenna 5 is required to be introduced into the vehicle body from the roof, to establish electrical connection and communication connection, therefore, the roof antenna mounting base is further provided with a cable through hole 7. Structurally, the cable through hole 7 extends through the bottom base 1 and the top plate 2 longitudinally.
[0034] Specifically, the cable through hole 7 is formed by a circular sleeve fixed inside the bottom base, and is located at a central position of the top plate slightly rearward in a front-rear direction of the vehicle body.
[0035] To further improve a heat insulation performance of the antenna mounting portion, an inner chamber of the bottom base may be filled with a heat insulation material (not illustrated), for example a foaming agent, and etc. Furthermore, for improving the structural strength of the bottom base, corresponding structures such as a reinforcing rib may be further designed in the bottom base, to improve the strength of the antenna mounting portion of the vehicle body on the premise of meeting the requirement for weight reduction.
[0036] Though the bottom base 1 and the top plate 2 are designed to be rectangular, the shapes thereof are not limited to this. According to the layout and requirements of a mounting space of the vehicle roof, the bottom base 1 and the top plate 2 may also be designed to have other shapes, such as a circular shape, a semi-circular shape, an elliptical shape, a triangular shape, a trapezoidal shape, and a polygonal shape.
[0037] Furthermore, the form of the threaded seat 3 is also not be limited to the bar-shaped profile, and may also be a nut welded to the inner top portion of the top plate 2, or a connecting block provided with threaded holes, and the like. The threaded seat 3 may even be omitted, and in this case, the bolt is fastened by a nut from the inside in the mounting process.
[0038] For conventional cables, especially for bunched cables, the cable through hole illustrated in the drawing can basically meet the requirement for introducing cables of the antenna. However, considering that cables of antennas may be more scattered in some special cases, multiple cable through holes 7 may be designed in such cases, and are configured to allow the passage of antennas at various positions and of various types respectively. It is not necessary to form the cable through hole 7 by the sleeve, and for consideration of simplicity, the sleeve may be omitted, and the cables may be introduced into the vehicle body by directly passing through the through holes in the top plate, the inside of the bottom base, the through holes in the bottom plate of the bottom base from top to bottom in the listed sequence. However, the sleeve can well protect the cables passing therethrough, thus using the sleeve is an idea solution.
[0039] In summary, the above contents are only preferred solutions of the roof antenna mounting base according to the present application, which are not limited thereto. On this basis, specific adjustments may be made according to practical requirements, to obtain different embodiments. There are numerous possible implementations, thus will not be listed herein.
[0040] Reference is made to Figure 4, which is a schematic structural view showing the roof antenna in Figure 1 being mounted on the roof of the vehicle body via the mounting base in Figure 1.
[0041] In addition to the above roof antenna mounting base, a rail vehicle is further provided according to the present application, which includes a vehicle body 8 and a roof antenna 5, the roof antenna 5 is mounted to a roof of the vehicle body 8 via a mounting base, and the mounting seat is the roof antenna mounting base described above hereinbefore.
[0042] As illustrated in the drawing, the bottom base 1 of the roof antenna mounting base is embedded into a mounting hole in the roof of the vehicle body 8, and the connecting edge of the top plate 2 is supported on the roof of the vehicle body. A bottom of the roof antenna 5 is fixed to the roof antenna mounting region by screws 9 (or bolts), and is connected to the roof of the vehicle body by full welding. An annular region is formed between a periphery of the roof antenna 5 and the protrusion 4, and a sealant 10 is filled within the annular region. The thickness of the bottom of the roof antenna 5 is greater than the thickness of the protrusion 4, therefore, the top of the sealant 10 is in the form of an inclined surface, the cables 6 of the roof antenna 5 pass through the cable through hole 7 to be introduced into the vehicle body from the roof, to establish the electric connection and communication connection.
[0043] The mounting base is the hollow box structure, and the threaded seat 3 for mounting the antennas is welded in the box, thus ensuring the mounting strength of the antennas, and also reducing the overall weight of the mounting base, and meeting the idea of light-weight design of the motor train unit. Further, the mounting base is mounted to the roof the motor train unit in the sinking manner, which reduces the mounting height of the roof antenna 5, improves the smoothness of an outline of the vehicle body, and meets the requirement of streamlined design for the motor train unit.
[0044] Furthermore, the mounting surface of the mounting base is provided with the peripherally closed protrusion 4, and after the roof antenna 5 is mounted, the sealant 10 may be coated to further improve the airtightness of the entire vehicle. The roof antenna mounting base can meet the requirements of airtightness and streamlined design for the motor train units, and also is applicable to various rail vehicles which are equipped with antennas on the roofs, such as a subway, an inter-city train, and especially a rail vehicle which has an air-conditioning device mounted on a roof thereof.
