STONE HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE AND OPEN STRUCTURE FOR FRAMING THE SAME BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention 5 The invention relates to stone based structures and more particularly to a stone honeycomb structure and an open structure for framing the stone honeycomb structures. 2. Description of Related Art Conventional stone structures for building are made of thick stone panels which 0 are not economical and bulky. The stone panels are secured together by applying adhesive in grooves of the stone panels or on the surfaces of the stone panels. Basically, no physical bonding is involved. There is a conventional stone honeycomb structure which is secured to another one by threading. There are no coverings to edges of the stone honeycomb structure 5 and thus rain may flow into the stone honeycomb structure through open portions to compromise the adhesive bonding. Further, the threading is done in a number of points of the stone honeycomb structure rather than the whole. Its structural strength is weak. Thus, the need for improvement still exists. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION 20 It is therefore one object of the invention to provide a stone honeycomb structure comprising a stone panel; and a composite sandwich panel; characterized in that the composite sandwich panel includes an outer face sheet, a honeycomb core having sealed edges, an inner face sheet, and two parallel groove members of aluminum alloy on the honeycomb core; a first adhesive layer is used to secure the outer face 25 sheet, the honeycomb core, the inner face sheet, and the groove members together by heating at a preset temperature and pressing; a second adhesive layer is used to secure the stone panel and the composite sandwich panel together to form a stone

Preferably, a groove element is provided in the frame, a plurality of flexible strips are disposed in the groove element, a plurality of nails are configured to fasten the lowest hook, the stone honeycomb structures are mounted on the open structure from 5 bottom to top, and the flexible strips are urged against inner surfaces of the stone honeycomb structures. Preferably, the frame has a cross-section of T and is a channel, a plurality of L-shaped mounting members are provided at both sides of the frame for attachment to a wall of a building, and the groove and the groove element are provided in the 20 frame with the hooks and the flexible strips positioned therein respectively. The invention has the following advantages: Open portions of the stone honeycomb structure are sealed. Groove members of aluminum alloy are provided on the honeycomb core. Its thickness is in the range of 5-7 mm. Frame, flexible strips, and hooks are provided. Installation is quick and easy. Gaps between the stone 25 honeycomb structures can be adjusted to an optimum. Occupied space is decreased to a minimum. Its materials are recyclable. The above and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will 2 become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a stone honeycomb structure according to the 5 invention; FIG. 2 is a perspective view of an open structure for framing the stone honeycomb structure according to the invention; and FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing four stone honeycomb structures framed by the open structures according to the invention. 0 DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a stone honeycomb structure and open structure for framing the same in accordance with the invention are shown. The stone honeycomb structure includes a stone panel 1 and a composite sandwich panel 2. The composite sandwich panel 2 includes an outer face sheet 21, a honeycomb core 22 having 5 sealed edges, an inner face sheet 23, and two parallel groove members 24 of aluminum alloy on the honeycomb core 22. A first adhesive layer 25 is used to secure the outer face sheet 21, the honeycomb core 22, the inner face sheet 23, and the groove members 24 together by heating at a preset temperature and pressing. A second adhesive layer 3 is used to secure stone panel 1 and the composite sandwich 20 panel 2 together to form a stone honeycomb structure which is installed on a wall of a building by using the open structure for framing the stone honeycomb structure. Preferably, the groove members 24 are provided lengthwise on the honeycomb core 22. Alternatively, the groove members 24 are provided transversely on the honeycomb core 22. 25 The open structure 4 for framing the stone honeycomb structure includes a frame 41 of aluminum alloy having a groove 411, and a plurality of hooks 42 each slidably disposed in the groove 411 and configured to position at a desired location. The stone 3 honeycomb structures are mounted on the open structure 4 from bottom to top sequentially. The hooks 42 hook the groove members 24 for positioning. A groove element 412 is provided in the frame 41. Flexible strips 43 are disposed in the groove element 412. Nails are used to fasten the lowest hook 42. Next, the stone honeycomb 5 structures are mounted on the open structure 4 from bottom to top. This ensures that the flexible strips 43 are urged against the inner surfaces of the stone honeycomb structures. The open structure 4 for framing the stone honeycomb structure of the invention is shown in FIG. 2 specifically. The frame 41 has a cross-section of T and is a channel. 0 A plurality of L-shaped mounting members 44 are provided at both sides of the frame 41 for attachment to a wall of a building. Groove 411 and groove element 412 are provided in the frame 41 with the hooks 42 and the flexible strips 43 positioned therein respectively. In the process of manufacturing the stone honeycomb structure, the outer face 5 sheet 21 is secured to the honeycomb core 22 by using the second adhesive layer 3 which is selected to be compatible with them. Prior to the manufacturing process, the honeycomb core 22 is manufactured into a box shaped structure. The first adhesive layer 25 is used to secure the outer face sheet 21, the honeycomb core 22, the inner face sheet 23, and the groove members 24 together by heating at a preset 20 temperature and pressing. Finally, the second adhesive layer 3 is used to secure stone panel 1 and the composite sandwich panel 2 together to form a stone honeycomb structure. Adhesive may be applied to open portions of the half-finished structure for sealing purpose. Preferably, the groove members 24 are provided lengthwise on the honeycomb core 22. Alternatively, the groove members 24 are 25 provided transversely on the honeycomb core 22. Installation of the stone honeycomb structures on a wall (e.g., concrete wall, brick wall, or steel wall) 5 of a building by using the open structure 4 is shown in FIG. 3 4 specifically. First, the frames 41 are secured to the wall 5 by using the mounting members 44 and threaded fasteners. Next, the frames 41 are adjusted to be flush one another. Next, flexible strips 43 are provided on the frames 41. Next, threaded fasteners are driven through the hooks 42 of the lowest stone panels 1 for fastening. 5 Next, another stone honeycomb structures are mounted above the installed stone honeycomb structures until the wall 5 is installed with the stone honeycomb structures. This installation has the advantages of saving time, the aluminum frame is lighter than the typical steel frame, decreasing the weight of the building, preventing the panel from contacting the frame due to the provision of the flexible strips made of TPE, 0 preventing corrosion, being simpler than the typical stone panel fastened by adhesive or the typical stone honeycomb structure fastened by threaded fasteners which directly secures the panel to the frame, and being reliable. The invention solves the following problems associated with the prior art. First, open portions of the stone honeycomb structure are sealed. Second, there is no need 5 of securing the stone panels together by applying adhesive in grooves of the stone panels or on the surfaces of the stone panels on site, thereby saving installation time. Third, the stone honeycomb structure and the open structure for framing the same are structurally strong in comparison with the point threading for fastening the stone honeycomb structure of the conventional art. Fourth, the honeycomb core is formed 20 integrally with the stone face sheets, thereby rendering a structurally strong stone wall of a building. While the invention has been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention can be practiced with modifications within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. 5
