Description

S1 TIDY TEABAG O This invention has been designed to maximise the amount of tea that can be squeezed out of a teabag without mess or the possibility of a burn which is currently the case. Instead of the tag currently at the top of teabags a single C string will be attached to the front of one of two small heat resistant plastic Clined tags (fig 1) through a little hole (fig 2).The string (fig 3) goes between the tags (fig 4 and fig 5)and is attached to the tea bag (fig 6).
SAfter the teabag is fully immersed the tags and string are still outside the cup as normal. Simply by lifting the string between the two tags and pulling the teabag up while it is over the cup the tags will open slightly and then force down over the bag. This pressure combined with fingers clamped over the heat resistant plastic lined tags will squeeze out much of the remains of the tea into the cup. The now fully utilised teabag can be cleanly and easily dispensed with.
Preferably the materials involved would be staples, string and plastic coated paper tags and tea bag.
The results would be a safer, cleaner and more economical teabag which would allow the consumer to more easily determine the
