Abstract
A driver's foot pressed on a vehicle brake pedal (6) brings about a braking effect. However, during the first millimeters of travel, part of the force generated by the pressure of the foot serves to compensate the clearances of the circuit. The invention provides the installation of a device (7) for feeding the hydraulic circuit (1) with hydraulic fluid (10) prior to braking so that the force generated by the pressure of the driver's foot serves as much as possible to brake the vehicle. Said device (7) enables to maintain the hydraulic circuit (1) below a certain pressure prior to braking before the hydraulic pressure output from the master cylinder (2) can act on the vehicle braking device (4). The pressure resulting from the driver's foot pressing on the brake pedal produces better recovery in the hydraulic circuit (1).
