Abstract
The invention relates to a process for the synthesis of polymers containing boron and nitrogen as precursors of boron nitride by reaction between at least one trihaloborane and at least one silazane compound containing at least one IDENTICAL Si-NH-Si IDENTICAL group, and characterised in that it consists in introducing the said silazane compound progressively into the said trihaloborane while the reaction mixture is maintained at a temperature of between approximately -100 DEG C and 0 DEG C, the ratio of the number of gram-equivalents of IDENTICAL Si-NH-Si IDENTICAL group of silazane to the number of moles of trihaloboron being higher than 1, and in then recovering the reaction product thus obtained.
