Abstract

An electrochemical determination system for detecting proteolytic enzyme activity or concentration, comprising an assortment of sensors (10a, 10b, 10c), where the working electrode (14a) of each sensor is covered with a reagent of a proteolytic enzyme and has a substrate which releases leaving groups via enzyme action, is new. An electrochemical determination system for detecting proteolytic enzyme activity or concentration, comprising an assortment of sensors (10a, 10b, 10c), where the working electrode (14a) of each sensor is covered with a reagent of a proteolytic enzyme and has a substrate which releases leaving groups via enzyme action. A measuring apparatus (20) has an electronic circuit imposing a current, whose intensity or voltage is or is not variable, between the electrodes, and receives in return a signal representing the release of the groups. An electronic apparatus (30) processes the signal and displays, on a display screen (32), an indication representing the release as a function of time.
