Abstract
An electric traction vehicle in which the motor (1) is supported on one side with two nose bearings (2,3) on the wheel axle (4) of the driving wheels (5,6) and, on the other side, cushioned on the vehicle-frame or bogie. In order to improve the drive for transmission of high torques and/or during application of high transmission ratios, the motor rotor shaft (8) carries, on the output-side shaft end (12), an axle extension (13) together with the pinion (7).
