Abstract

Fixation element used for osteosynthesis in humans or animals consists of a screw (20) with a screw head (22) and a screw body (24) with shoulder surfaces (26) for a spanner. A support surface in the form of a collar (28) is provided between the screw body and the screw head. Preferred Features: The transition between the screw head and the screw body has a conical course, running preferably at about 45degrees. The screw body and screw head are cylindrical.
