Abstract
It is endeavoured further to reduce the size of medium-voltage switchgear, but on the other hand it is intended to improve the switching power. To this end, it is necessary to adapt the associated drives for medium-voltage switchgear to these new conditions. The invention shows a means by which a snap-action drive for medium-voltage switchgear is designed with few individual parts which can be housed in a U-shaped supporting rack 21. Two driveshafts 1 and 1' are provided, which are designed as hollow shafts and in which thrust rods 12, 12' unlock thrust locking bolts 18, 18', by means of an operating device 37 via guide pieces 13, 13' which are located in the driveshafts 1 and 1', which results in a force-fitting connection being produced between the drive and the moving contacts. The operating device 37 is installed together with a locking plate 23 such that incorrect handling is prevented. Such a snap-action drive can be used in medium-voltage switchgear, preferably in metal-encapsulated, compressed-gas-insulated switchgear. <IMAGE>
