Abstract
Den Gegenstand dieser Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zur Behandlung eines Yankee-Zylinders, wobei der Yankee- Zylinder einen Zylindermantel aus Stahl mit einem ferritisch-perlitischen Gefüge (Stähle aus ASME SA516, ASME SA36 sowie AD2000 W1 Stähle 2.1 bis 2.4) aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß wird die äußere Oberfläche des Zylindermantels mit einem Laserstrahl wärmebehandelt und dadurch gehärtet.
