Abstract

This safety ski binding has a foot plate which is pivotable about a vertical rotation pin and bears a toepiece and a heel holder, the sole holder of which is pivotable upwards counter to the force of a first compression spring. The heel holder has a control lever which bears a roller which is loaded by a second compression spring and, in the event of a turning fall, rolls along a control cam fixed to the ski. The two compression springs are arranged coaxially in the housing of the heel holder, and the outer compression spring, which serves for vertical release, lies on a pressure ring which is supported on an intermediate element. In order to avoid the use of elbow levers and to make the construction of the intermediate element more dimensionally stable, the intermediate element 19 has two side plates which run parallel to one another and between which at least a part of the control lever 20 is arranged, and the intermediate element 19 is supported with a further roller 27 on a catch rocker 23 for vertical release. <IMAGE>

Claims

2. Binding according to claim 1, characterized in that the intermediate member (19) is approximately triangular in side view, is hinged in its upper region to the housing (6) and carries the roller (27) at its front end.

3. Binding according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the control lever (20) has in its central region a recess for receiving the end of an adjusting screw (25) for adjusting the bias of the inner pressure spring (13) loading the roller (27) .

Binding according to claim 3, characterized in that the control lever (20) has a kink in the region of its recess, which has a full support of the upper or lower half of the collar of the adjusting screw (25) on the control lever (20) in the central position or in each end position of the same control cam (4a).

5. Binding according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking rocker (23) carries in its upper end region an axis (31) for a release lever (18).

6. Binding according to claim 5, characterized in that the release lever (18) has two hook-like projections (18a) which are in operative connection with opposite recesses in the sole holder (15).

7. Binding according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the release lever (18) carries two lateral lugs (18b) which are intended for pivoting the sole holder (15) after exceeding the release point in its starting position.

8. Binding according to one of claims 5 to 7, characterized in that the release lever (18) has in its upper front region two further approaches (18c), which counter surfaces on the sole holder (15) are assigned to close the same.
