Rippenrohrelemente für Rauchgasvorwärmer, bei denen die Flanschen der kastenförmigen Körper gegen die Rohre einseitig versetzt sind, derart, dass zwei nebeneinander stehende Rohrgruppen mit einer in der Höhe um die halbe Rohrteilung versetzten Heizfläche angeordnet werden, wodurch Gaskanäle von konstantem Querschnitt in Wellenform entstehen (Fig. 1), sind Gegenstand des Anspruches 3 des Stammpatentes Nr. 130728. Diese Wellenform hat sich durch Messungen als besonders günstig für die Wärmeübertragung ergeben, weil immer neue Moleküle mit den Heizflächen in Berührung kommen.
Gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung wird nun eine solche Wellenform dadurch gebildet, dass man die unmittelbar aneinandergegossenen Heizkörper auflöst, derart, dass man je ein Rohr a ausfallen lässt und dieses durch eine Längsrippe b ersetzt (Fig. 2). Man kann sich die Entstehung dieses neuen Heizkörpers auch derart denken, dass man je zwei Rohre um den Abstand eines Rohres auseinanderzieht und hier eine Längsrippe einschaltet. Die neue Form entsteht also auch dadurch, dass der Steg b (Fig. 1) entsprechend zu einer Längsrippe verlängert wird. In Fig. 2 ist b die Längsrippe, welche zwischen je zwei Rohren eingeschaltet ist.
Eine solche Ausführungsform hat den Vorteil, dass für jedes Rohr (pro Rohr) die Heizfläche vergrössert und eine Gewichtsverminderung erreicht wird.
